Welcome to The Rooted Motherhood!
Welcome, friend. I’m so glad you’re here. This space was created as an extension of my heart – a place where faith meets the everyday rhythms of motherhood, homemaking, and homeschooling. What started as a simple blog quickly grew into something more: a calling to help other women build the life God created them for. From the honest encouragement of The Rooted Motherhood, to the simple beauty of Oak & Olive Homestead, to the Scripture-filled learning of Root & Refuge Cottage School, each piece of this journey is grounded in the same truth – that when we root ourselves in Christ, everything else begins to flourish. Whether you’re in the thick of toddler life, navigating new seasons, or simply needing a reminder that you’re not alone – you belong here. My prayer is that you leave here feeling uplifted, equipped, and reminder that you’re not walking this path alone.
Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.
–Colossians 2:7

The Rooted Motherhood
Christian motherhood blog & community
The Rooted Motherhood began in a quiet moment with the Lord – one of these desperate, tear-filled prayers whispered in the middle of a chaotic day. I had spent so long trying to do motherhood in my own strength: overwhelmed by the expectations, constantly questioning if I was doing enough, and often letting my emotions get the best of me. But when I began to root myself in Scripture and invite Jesus into the everyday moments of motherhood, something shifted. I found peace in the chaos. Purpose in the mundane. Grace for myself and my children.
This blog is the overflow of that transformation. It’s a place for the mom who loves her babies deeply but still feels worn thin. For the woman who knows there’s more to this life than just surviving the day-to-day. Through devotionals, honest stories, and practical encouragement, my heart is to remind you that you were created for this – not by accident, but with intention. You are raising disciples, shaping hearts, and building a legacy that echoes into eternity. You’re not alone, mama. Let’s stay rooted in Him, together.

Oak & Olive Homestead
Faithful homemaking & simple living
Oak & Olive Homestead grew from our desire to slow down and live in rhythm with God’s creation – to raise our children connected to the land, to simplicity, and to what really matters. This homestead isn’t perfect or picture-perfect. It’s messy and beautiful and full of grace. From eggs in our hands to Scripture on our lips, everything we grow and give comes from a place of faith. Our family believes in working with our hands, opening our hearts, and offering what we have back to the Lord.
Whether it’s farmstead goods, homemaking tips, or seasonal rhythms, Oak & Olive is an invitation to embrace a slower life that reflects God’s goodness. We’re learning to steward our land, our home, and our days with intention – not just for ourselves, but for the Kingdom. It’s not about producing more, but about being faithful with what we have. Here, everything is rooted in faith and offered with grace.

Root & Refuge Cottage School
Christ-centered homeschool built on Scripture & simplicity
Root & Refuge Cottage School is the heart of our homeschool journey – a space where faith and learning grow side by side. As a first-generation homeschooler, I stepped into this calling with more questions than answers. But what I did know was that I wanted Scripture to be the foundation of my children’s education. I wanted them to see God not just in Bible time, but in every subject, every moment, every discovery.
Inspired by Charlotte Mason philosophy and led by the Holy Spirit, Root & Refuge is where we seek beauty, truth, and grace in our homeschool days. it’s where we gather around the table, read living books, explore creation, and learn to love learning – all while keeping Jesus at the center. This little cottage school is more than just a method; it’s a refuge where our children can grow roots deep in truth before they’re sent out into the world. And it’s my joy to share that journey with you – to encourage and equip you, whether you’re just beginning or walking this path already.
